OVA1® is an FDA-cleared blood test with unparalleled ability to detect ovarian cancer in women who are planned for surgery for a pelvic mass. OVA1, Co. s first-generation Multivariate Index Assay (MIA), evaluates the levels of five ovarian cancer-associated markers in the blood and utilizes a sophisticated mathematical formula to combine these levels into a single ovarian cancer risk score. By incorporating multiple markers, OVA1 (MIA) is able to detect more ovarian cancers, including less common forms of cancer, than alternative testing modalities. Critically, OVA1 (MIA) can detect early stage ovarian cancer which is associated with dramatically better survival rates.
