Process for prepn a thermosetting compn - Maintaining the process in O-free state - Introducing first polymer directly from polymn reactor in which it was prepd., in molten form into mixer/compounder - Reducing any higher pressure accompanying first polymer from polymn reactor to mixer/compounder to 0-5 barg pressure - Adding additives: Antioxidants, Second polymers to mixer/ compounder & mixing same with molten first polymer - Passing molten mixt through screens, each having max. opening size of 25 microns - Pelletizing mixt - Introducing pellets into spraying chamber, the interior of said chamber being operated in static condition - Spraying pellets in chamber with crosslinking formulation including an organic peroxide - Annealing coated pellets to impregnate pellets with the crosslinking formulation |
