Compn for storage of viable infective juvenile nematodes comprising granules having soft core consisting of purified prepn of nematodes of family selected from group: Steiner nematidae, Heterorhabditidae & Phasmanhabditidae supplied in an individual drop of liquid aq medium, wherein - Said core is coated with powdered material - Wherein said aq medium within drop is drawn into the pow dered material, causing the powdered material to form a solidified casing surrounding said nematodes - Wherein > 90% of nematodes survive when maintained for 6 weeks at 25C or 4 weeks at 30C or use < 1 ml O2 per 1 million nematodes per day when stored at 25C |
