Method for removing selected biodegradable materials from body of water comprising - Disposing plurality of bio-suspension elements within an enclosure which is floating at least partially submerged in body of water, wherein said elements provide surfaces for supporting the growth of > 5 different biological microorga nisms - Intermittently introducing said microorganisms into enclosu re along with water, wherein said water is continuously agi tated aerated & fed into enclosure at rate > 60 feet/min whereby treated water is produced - Continuously removing said treated water from enclosure at same above rate - Continuously measuring pH, total dissolved solids, T & flow rate of treated water which is removed from enclosure at same above rate |
