- Measuring spectrophotometrically absorption of ferrous
ion/reagent soln at predetermined wavelength
- Calculating amount of ferrous ion present by comparing
absorption of ferrous ion/reagent complex soln of fifth &
sixth steps
- Repeating above seq to determine actual corrosion rate
