Mfg process - Co-polymn of propene & butene by gas phase polymn while avoiding liquefaction of monomer gases to obtain random copolymer, said co-polymn catalyzed by (i) solid catalyst comp. contg Mg, Ti & halogen, (ii) organo-Al compd & (iii) electron donor Said copolymer having following properties - Butene content 15-30% - Melt flow rate at 230C under load of 2.16 kg < 20 g/10 min - Polidispersity < 4.5 - B < 1.05A - 10; A = wt % of butene & B is wt % of cold xylene soluble portion - Butene content in cold xylene soluble portion is < 1.7 times the content of butene in copolymer & making PP laminated film comprising a layer of crystalline PP & layer of random copolymer on one side of crystalline PP |
