| DESCRIPTION | Precipitated silica for use as reinforcement filler in the rubber industry. Ultrasil 7005 is a micro-granular precipitated silica with spherical particles. It is characterized by a low dust content and excellent handling and transportation characteristics; easy dosage and admixture compared to powder. - Ultrasil 7005 displays excellent dispersion characteristics and its high reinforcement effect makes it an optimum choice for passenger vehicle treads. While reducing roll resistance, Ultrasil 7000 GR also improves abrasion resistance and grip under wet conditions. Maximizing these properties requires combining Ultrasil 7000 GR with bifunctional organosilanes such as Si 69 or VP Si 75. In addition, adding di-ethylene glycol, tri-ethanolamine or base accelerators will further ensure rubber properties are achieved and maintained. This product meets the toughest requirements placed on a reinforcement filler. |
