Ethylene copolymer contg C2H4 (> 90%) mfg catalyst - Treated solid catalytic system (I) comprising Mg (1 mole) Ti (0.01-20 moles) & halogen - Organo-Li compd Wherein (I) is prepd by process consisting of - Reacting at -20 - 200C during 10 min - 20 hours, at least one O-contg organic Mg compd with O-contg Ti(IV) compd until liquid complex is obtained - Treating said complex at -20 - 150C using 0.5-50 mole per mole of Ti used of a halogen-contg organo-Al compd of formula AlRnX3-n, in which R = 1-20 C alkyl, X = halogen & n < 3 in order to precipitate the liquid complex as a solid catalytic complex - Separating solid complex & washing with inert diluent to remove excess reagent & any by-prodts - Treating at -20 - 150C solid complex using 0.1-40 mole per mole of Ti used of AlRnX3-n |
