Integrated process for butene-1 mfg - Feeding a fresh feed of C4 hydrocarbon stream consisting of linear butenes, butanes & optionally butadiene together with a recycled stream rich in butene-1 & optionally contg traces of butadiene to a selective hydrogenation section of butadiene & optionally acetylenic compds - Feeding the hydrogenated stream without butadiene & the acetylenic compds to a sepn section of butene-1 to obtain a stream consisting of high purity butene-1 (> 99%) & a re maining hydrocarbon stream (I) consisting of paraffins & olefins (butene-1 & butene-2) - Sending (I) in a vapour phase to a molecular sieve sepn section for sepn of paraffins (butanes) from the olefins, the recovery of the olefins & the purge of the paraffins - Sending the hydrocarbon stream contg the recovered ole fins, together with an optional fraction not fed in third step to a bond isomerization section for the transformation of the cis & trans butenes-2 to butene-1 - Recycling the isomerized stream to the selective hydroge nation section after mixing with the fresh feed C4 hydrocar bon stream |
