Chinese firms license oxos Dow Chemical and Davy Process Technology have licensed their LP Oxo Process technology for two new Chinese plants. Sinopec will build a plant with capacity for 171,000 metric tons of 2-ethylhexanol and 20,000 metric tons of iso-butyraldehyde per year in Zibo, Shandong province, by the fourth quarter of 2004. Petrochina Jilin Petrochemical will build a 128,000-metric-ton n-butanol plant in the same time frame in Jilin, China |
