Co.'s M-PVA magnetic beads are manufactured using a patented water in oil stirring method. The method enables the production of particles in a narrow size distribution, moreover, the controlled variation of particle sizes is possible over a wide range. The first figure shows the typical Coulter-outputs of our standard size ranges, 0.5 - 1, 1 - 3 and 5 - 8 µm*. The index on the product name contains information concerning the particle size as shown in the following example: *Size range 5 - 8 µm on request only. |
