Nanosys signs defense pacts Nanosys has started up the first phase of a joint development project supported by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The nanotechnology company will work with the research and engineering firm Sciperio; Pennsylvania State University; and the University of Texas, Dallas, to develop semiconductor technology for flexible electronic systems. The contract, totaling a possible $7.2 million, is being managed by the Air Force Research Laboratory. |
