PolyOne selling off businesses In a bid to focus on its core compounding, masterbatch, and plastics distribution businesses, PolyOne says it will sell businesses that generated nearly a quarter of its 2002 sales. The businesses in elastomers and performance additives, engineered films, and specialty resins generated sales of $364 million, $153 million, and $100 million, respectively.
