PhosChem lands Chinese contract The Phosphate Chemicals Export Association (PhosChem) has signed a diammonium phosphate supply agreement with China National Agricultural Means of Production Group Corp. (CNAMPGC). Under the agreement, PhosChem will sell 400,000 metric tons of DAP to CNAMPGC from September through December, in addition to the 1 million metric tons it has already supplied under contract this year. Furthermore, PhosChem will supply up to 1.9 million metric tons of DAP in both 2004 and 2005. PhosChem says that, with the contract, it will be nearly sold out for the rest of the year.
