and invest in OLED displays BASF Venture Capital is investing in Edinburgh, Scotland-based organic light-emitting-diode developer MicroEmissive Displays. The investment is part of a $7.5 million package led by Scottish Equity Partners. MED makes displays that are about 7.5 mm across and are magnified with a lens for use in applications like camcorder and camera viewfinders. BASF says the OLED display market could reach $2.2 billion by 2006 |
