Claim 1: Imaging element for making title plate comprising sequentially on a support having a hydrophilic surface: (a) Photosensitive layer (b) Intermediate layer being soluble in aq. medium (c) Thermosensitive layer (mask) opaque to light for which (a) has spectral sensitivity & capable of rendered transparent upon exposure to laser light Claim 11: A method for making lithographic printing plate - Image-wise exposing a imaging element as defined in claim 1 by means of a laser thereby image-wise rendering (c) transpa rent to light for which (a) has spectral sensitivity - Overall exposing said obtained imaging element with light for which (a) has spectral sensitivity - Developing obtained imaging element thereby removing (b), (c) & either non-exposed or exposed areas of (a) so as to leave a ink accepting image of (a) on support |
