- Light wt. polymeric diamond meshed hand held sponge - Liquid cleanser comprising (1) Surfactant system (a) Acyl isethionate (1-15 %); (b) Anionic surfactant (1-15 %) & (c) Am photeric surfactant; (2) Deodorant compn (0.01-10 %) com prising 45-100 % deodorant comp. having lipoxidase-inhibi ting capacity of > 50% or Raoult variance ratio > 1.1; said comp being classified into 6 classes: Class 1: Phenolic substances; Class 2: Essential oils, extracts, resins & synthe tic oils; Class 3: Aldehydes & ketones; Class 4: Polycyclic compds.; Class 5: Esters; Class 6: Alc. Provided that where a comp can be classified into more than one class, it is placed in the lower or lowest numbers class Said comp. being so selected that: - The deodorant compn contains > 5 comp of which at least one must be selected from class 1, 2 & 4 - The compn contains comp from at least 4 of the 6 classes - Any comp present at concn < 0.5 % is eliminated from pre vious 2 requirements & compn having deodorant value 0.5-3.5 as measured by Deodorant Value Test, wherein the odor intensity of cleanser is higher when used with said sponge than if used with other conventional sponges |
