Method for forming a planographic printing plate - Providing a planographic printing plate precursor element comprising: (A) Substrate; (B) Composite layer structure ha ving an inner surface continuous to the substrate & an outer surface, the composite layer structure comprising: (a) a first layer applied to a surface of the substrate, the first la yer consisting of TP PU contg allyl groups, & at least one photothermal conversion material & (b) a silicone layer comprised of a crosslinked silicone polymer - Imagewise exposing the composite layer structure to ther mal energy to provide exposed portions & complementary unexposed portions, wherein the exposed portions are se lectively permeable to a developer liquid - Applying the developer liquid to the composite layer struc ture to remove the exposed portions to produce an imaged planographic printing plate having uncovered ink receptive areas & complementary ink repellent areas of silicone layer |
