Co is to build a paper chemicals plant in Paraná State, Brazil. The plant will start up by the end of 2000, and the first stage will cost some $10 million. It will produce sizing and specialty chemicals used by the papermaking industry, which Co. says is "growing significantly in Latin America." Brazil, the company adds, is the largest producer in the region. |
