Co has agreed to buy surplus pure mercury from EU members of Euro Chlor, marketing it instead of producing anew. By the end of this year, more than 1,300 metric tons of mercury will have been shipped back to Co from closed or converted plants. Another 2,000 metric tons could come from chlor-alkali plants in non-EU countries in the region. |
