PATENT CLAIMS Process for treat of sealable PP film surface by unpolarized flame to increase the surface tension of the film wherein
- The PP film having thickness 4 - 120 micro-m is passed
over a cooling roll
- A burner is mounted above the cooling roll
- The unpolarized flame is produced by burner
- The film is flame-treated with unpolarized flame
- The film is cooled by cooling roll to thereby produce flame
treated surface having T upon leaving cooling roll of < 25C
such that the sealability of film is not impaired, no condensa
tion occurs on film surface & no static charge is acquired
