Production process - Mixing phosphorescent phosphor particles & free-flow agent particles in mixer - Sieving mixt through a 10 micron screen in sonic sifting ma chine - Feeding sieved particles in an extrusion & pelletizing pro cess for forming masterbatch pellets from a melted TP po lymer material in which the polymer in pellet form is fed into an extruder from one entry port & sieved particles are fed from second entry port in amount (< 30 % rel. to polymer) - Feeding the phosphorescent masterbatch pellets into a melt extrusion unit via a volumetric color chip feeder & adding virgin polymer pellets in amount (> 9 times by vol. of masterbatch) & extruding mixt to form filaments |
