WHILE THOSE EXACT words probably were not spoken, contact insists Co.'s chemists were looking for a weather-resistant polymer when they invented resin in 1998. Co. hasn't built a dedicated plant yet, but contact says it will ramp up production when justified by demand. Resin may yet be a blockbuster, but if anything is sure about introducing a new polymer, it's that things don't always work out according to plan. |
