Process for the prepn of non-aq ink conc suitable for use as a stir in conc. for forming non-aq ink compn (a) Milling crude metal phthalocyanine to reduce the particle size thereof, thereby forming a milled crude metal phthalocyanine (b) Kneading the modified crude metal phthalocyanine together with non-aq ink vehicle comprising one or more organic ink solvents which is an > 12C aliphatic alc. or an > 4C aliphatic carboxylic acid with a shear gradient 300-20,000 1/s, the metal phthalocyanine being present in amount 20-80% to give non-aq lithographic ink or letterpress ink conc. contg the metal phthalocyanine in pigmentary form dispersed in the non-aq ink vehicle |
