(b) Adding catalyst in form of plurality of particles, each particle formed of porous support with an amount of reduced Ni metal catalyst phase deposited upon support in first dispersed phase providing catalyst activity, further having an added metal upon support as a second dispersed phase in amount that is effective in resisting agglomeration or sintering of Ni metal catalyst phase &, wherein second dispersed phase is separate & distinct from first dispersed phase
(c) Maintaining mixt at > 150C & pressure effective to maintain liquid reactant mixt. liquid for a time, wherein an amount of said catalyst & the time being sufficient for converting organic material into prodt
