Method of O delignification of medium consistency pulp slurry, consisting of following steps - Providing a pulp slurry of 10-16% consistency at 170-240F - Adjusting pH > 11 - Adding O gas to slurry with agitating mixing therein the absence of H2O2 - Reacting slurry with O gas in first pressurized reactor in absence of H2O2 other than an amount of residual H2O2 - Adjusting the pH of slurry > 11 - Impregnating slurry with first supply of H2O2 & O gas - Reacting slurry in second reactor at 170-240F while maintaining oH > 10 |
