Applying an aq. wax emulsion to portion of an ar chitectural surface, emulsion comprising - Water-dispersible microparticulate wax (2-50%) whose melting point is 50-100C - Emulsifier (concn is at least sufficient to stabilize emulsion but less than concn which would render dried aq wax emulsion coating re-dispersible in water) - Water (40-98%) Wherein aq wax emulsion is applied beneath paint overcoating & said emulsion is allowed to dry before applying said overcoating, or said paint coating is a deteriorated paint coating & said aq. wax emulsion penetrates cracks & penetrates beneath peeling paint thereby sealing said cracks & re-adhering said peeling paint |
