Process for removal & destruction of nitrate anions from feed water comprising a. Concentrating nitrate anions by its adsorption on ion exchange resin b. Removing said nitrate from exchange resin with regenerant to create effluent stream c. Feeding said effluent into bioreactor with mi crobes or catalytic reactor for destroying any nitrate present in effluent stream & thereafter feeding said effluent into sulfate removal sys tem for removing any sulfate anion to provide a treated effluent stream d. Filtrating treated effluent stream to filter any solids & thereafter purify said stream by reverse osmosis |
