COMMENTS Already, in response to local concern about safety, AEP has changed the reductant of the SCR system going up at its Gavin power plant in Cheshire, Ohio, from anhydrous NH3 to granular urea.
The Gavin plant - the largest generating station in Ohio - is the centerpiece of AEP's NOx compliance efforts, just as it was for SO2 emission redn in early 1990s
