Dark green colored glass comprising 100 parts of matrix comp. of soda lime silicate glass &, as coloring comp.: - Fe2O3 (0.5-2.0 parts) - TiO2 (1.0-3.0 parts) - CoO (0.003-0.02 part) - Se (< 0.0008 part) - Cr2O3 (< 0.05 part) - V2O5 (< 0.5 part) - CeO2 (< 0.5 part) Wherein proportion of Fe2O3 is 15-50%, & when said glass has thickness of 5 mm it has transmittance of light having wavelength of 370 nm of < 25%, dominant wavelength of 480-560 nm as measured by using Illuminant C & an excita tion purity of 4-16% as measured by using Illuminant C, & the ratio obtained by dividing the visible light transmittance (illuminant A) by the solar radiation transmittance is > 1.3 |
