- A pre-treat layer consisting of pre-treat adsorbent in order
to adsorb moisture preferentially over CH4, N & CO2
- Main layer consisting of main adsorbent comprising Cu(I)
compd in order to adsorb CO preferentially over H, CO2,
CH4 & N
The IMPROVEMENT comprising using an adsorbent comprising Cu(I) chloride on C support as said pre-treat adsorbent wherein the said adsorbent provides surface area 50-500 square.m/g & bulk d. > 30 lbs/cubic.ft
