Process for the production of hydrocarbons from synthesis gas - Feeding continuously to bottom of reactor for Fischer-Trop sch reactions, contg a catalyst comprising supported Co, a synthesis gas consisting of H & CO, in H/CO 1-3 - Continuously discharging from reactor the Fischer Tropsch reaction prodt consisting of hydrocarbon liquid phase contg the catalyst in suspension - Feeding the Fischer Tropsch reaction prodt together with H stream, to a hydrocracking reactor operating at 200-500C - Discharging a vapour phase consisting of light hydrocar bons from the head of hydrocracking reactor & from the bo ttom a suspension contg heavier prodts which is recycled to the Fischer Tropsch reactor - Cooling & condensing the vapour phase leaving the hydro cracking reactor Wherein the catalyst is catalytically active for both the Fischer-Tropsch reactions & hydrocracking reactions |
