Method of removing water from a stream of moist non-corro sive gas which comprises - Passing said gas stream over or through a quantity of a gas compatible oxide or salt of an electropositive metal, said metal oxide or salt having a surface area of > 140 square .m/g for period of time sufficient to reduce the water content of gas stream to on the order of < 10 ppb Said metal oxide or salt being unaffected by said gas & being capable of maintaining said dehydration for an extended period of time |
