Process for recovery of N,N'-bis(alkylphenol)-[1,1'-biphenyl] -4,4'-diamine (I) from an electrophotographic imaging member, the process comprising - Providing said member comprising at least one imaging layer comprising a film forming binder & (I) - Contacting the imaging layer with warm toluene to dissolve toluene soluble materials including the film forming binder & (I) to form mixt contg undissolved material & soln of tolue ne & toluene soluble materials - Isolating soln from undissolved material - Concentrating soln in partial vacuum & applied heat - Cooling concentrate - Mixing the conc. with acetone to precipitate (I) - Separating the (I) ppcc from conc. - Washing (I) with acetone - Drying (I) ppcc - Purifying (I) ppcc |
