Homogeneous liquid phase immunoassay for measuring concn of analyte in body fluid - Treating body fluid prior to antigen Ab reaction by adding Mg ions to provide concn 5-300 mM at the time said reac tion occurs, said Mg ions being added to body fluid follo wed by mixing with buffer soln contg an antigen or Ab to the analyte to be measured - Keeping the resulting soln standing for period of time suffi cient to allow said reaction to take place in presence of Mg ions at concn 5-300 mM previously added & - Measuring a change in turbidity specific to the analyte or change in scattering light intensity specific to the analyte, which is caused by the above reaction, the Mg ions present during the measurement serving to suppress non-specific turbidity |
