- Reaction column having upper end & an opposite lower end - Two spaced-apart inlets formed on said lower end - Center column disposed within, & surrounded by reaction column - Venturi throat being connected to & disposed above cen ter column - Fluid supply line connected to center column to upwardly direct a stream of fluid through the center column & through the venturi throat creating a reduced pressure zone at the upper end of reaction column - First source of first reagent connected to one of the inlets & second source of second reagent connected to the se cond of the inlets - The first reagent & second reagent being drawn upwardly through reaction column by the reduced pressure at the upper end of the reaction column, the first reagent & second reagent interacting in the reaction column & producing ClO2, the ClO2 passing out of the reaction column into the venturi throat & out of the apparatus |
