Method of accurately & homogeneously incorporating an added ingredient with a particulate animal foodstuff material - Placing quantity of said particulate animal foodstuff in mixer - Adding to mixer a gel, the amount of gel added being at a loading of < 20 kg gel/tonne of foodstuff material, said gel contg a gelling agent, in amount < 10% w/w of final gel & also contg said added ingredient - Mixing said gel with said foodstuff so that the individual particles of foodstuff become homogeneously coated with said gel, & the walls of the mixer are left free from added in gredient contamination after mixing |
