Method of sequential adsorption, storage & desorption of multiplicity of organic compds, contained in gas stream at concn 0.5 ppb - 100 ppm, with retention of rel. proportions of each of said compds in each of the adsorption, storage & desorption cycles comprising - Flowing said gas stream through an adsorbent bed compri sing a clay to adsorb said compds in amounts which are the same proportionate portion as each are found in said gas stream - Storing the adsorbed organic compds in the clay - Desorbing said compds in same proportionate portion as each are stored in the clay at 50-600C for time sufficient to desorb said compds - Removing residual organic compds from the clay in a flowing gas at > 450C |
