Process for sepn multi-Me branched alkanes from mixt of multi-Me branched alkane (1), mono-Me-branched alkane (2) & normal alkane (3) into stream enriched in (1), stream enriched in (2) & stream enriched in (3) - Introducing the mixt to a simulated moving bed of solid adsorbent particles selected from group: Silicalite, Ferrieri te, Zeolite beta, MAPO-31, SAPO-31, SAPO-11, zeolite X ion exchanged with alkaline cations, alkaline earth cations & zeolite Y ion exchanged with alkaline cation, alkaline earth cation, said particles having the selectivity (3) > (2) > (1) - Removing & collecting raffinate stream enriched in (1) - Desorbing the (2) using first desorbent capable of desor bing the (2) but incapable of desorbing (3) - Removing & collecting first extract stream enriched in (2) - Desorbing (3) using second desorbent - Removing & collecting second extract stream enriched in (3) |
