MECHANISM OF ACTION |
NO makes it possible for smooth muscle in penis to relax, allowing penis chambers to fill with blood. NO is synthesized in body by catalytic oxidation of L-Arginine Arginase catalytically hydrolyzes L-Arginine. With less L-Arginine available, less NO is produced. Arginase inhibitors would interfere with hydrolysis, leaving more L-arginine available for NO production. |
