Propyl bromide is intended to replace CFC & halons. The ODP of Propyl bromide has been calculated. They find that the ODP of n-Pr bromide varies with where it's emitted - The largest effects stem from emissions in the tropics - Emissions would be much smaller at middle to higher lati tudes - Emissions from the U.S. would give an acceptable ODP under current EPA guidelines |
